Oolagen has partnered with East Metro Youth Services and Yorktown Child and Family Centre to create Toronto’s only city-wide adolescent mental health walk-in counselling service. What’s up Walk-in provides fast, hassle-free, no-cost access to mental health services for youth 0 to 18 years old and their families. With wait lists of up to one year across all children’s mental health agencies, Walk-in meets a real and urgent need. In many cases, Oolagen’s expertly trained clinicians can make a tangible difference in just one session, but we can also refer clients to other services if needed and Walk-in can be used more than once if necessary. Walk-in services are available 5 days per week.

Service is provided on a first come, first serve basis. End of day attendance can be particularly busy and we regret the times we may be unable to guarantee service if there are more clients than available therapists. Clients should arrive one and a half hours prior to closing. In the event that we are forced to turn someone away, we will make an appointment for another time that is convenient for the client.

Many parents and caregivers find it helpful to consult with a therapist without their child present and are welcome to visit Walk-in on their own.

Located at 65 Wellesley St E Unit 500 we are open 5 days a week and see children, youth and families ages 0-24.

Monday 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. (Final session at 4:30 p.m.)* Ages 0 to 24 years
Tuesday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (Final session at 12:30 p.m.)* Ages 0 to 24 years
Wednesday 12 noon to 8 p.m. (Final session at 6:30 p.m.)* Ages 0 to 24 years
Thursday 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. (Final session at 4:30 p.m.)* Ages 0 to 24 years
Friday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. (Final session at 12:30 p.m. )* Ages 0 to 24 years

Please arrive 90 minutes before closing to allow yourself time to fill in paper work and meet with the therapist for an hour.

When visiting our offices at 65 Wellesley Street East after 6 p.m., you are now required to enter an access code on a newly installed panel just outside the building entrance. Enter the numbers 1030, then press ZERO to reach our receptionist, who will then buzz you in. Questions? Call 416 395 0660.

If your child is under 12 years of age and you are separated or divorced and  have joint custody or legal proceedings are ongoing regarding custody we must obtain written or verbal consent from the child’s other parent in order to meet with your child.  We can however meet with you, without your child until said consent can be obtained.  If your child is under 12 and you have sole custody you can consent to services on behalf of your child.
