A passionate believer in the importance of ensuring that people struggling with mental health issues get the help they need when they need it, Chip joined the Oolagen Board in 2012. He and wife Michelle Savoy co-chaired Oolagen’s 2010 and 2011 Leave Them Laughing Galas. Chip is a financial services executive.
A member of Oolagen’s Board of Directors since 2008, Barbara was President in 2010. She is head of the legal department and senior management team member at Dell Canada.
Appointed to the Board in 2012, Jim is the Vice Chair of the Mosaic Institute. His numerous academic distinctions include appointments as Senior Fellow affiliated with the Center for Global Change and Governance at Rutgers University-Newark and Senior Research Fellow at the Carnegie Council on Ethics and International Affairs.
Appointed to the Board in 2013, Kathleen is a senior manager with KPMG Canada. She holds a degree from Wilfred Laurier University and earned her Chartered Professional Accountant designation in 2009.
Peter joined Oolagen’s Board of Directors in 2000 and is also a past Board President. A lawyer with Beard Winter, Peter practices primarily in corporate and commercial law. He is a past member of the Official Guardian’s Office representing children in court under the Child Welfare Act.
Doug joined the Board in 2011, but has been actively volunteering for Oolagen since 2008. He is currently Vice President, Associate Portfolio Manager and Investment Advisor with CIBC Wood Gundy. He holds an M.B.A. from York University and a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from the University of Manitoba.
An Oolagen Board member since 2012, Susan owns the Waterfield Group, a consulting firm focused on governance and public sector reform in the education, energy, insurance and financial sectors. She is a past Associate Secretary of Cabinet for Leadership and Deputy Minister of Government Restructuring; her extensive senior volunteer leadership experience comprises both YMCA Canada and YMCA of Greater Toronto, the Innovation Institute of Ontario and the Toronto Hunt Club.
A Chartered Accountant and Partner at Price Waterhouse Coopers, Jeff holds an MBA from York University and B.A. from Western University. An Oolagen Board member since 2013, Jeff is also Treasurer of Weizman Canada and Chair of the Risk Committee at JVS Toronto.
Elected to the Board in September 2014, Leen is a fundraising strategist with expertise in development, stakeholder relations and youth program management. Prior to her involvement in the non-profit sector, Leen worked for the Ontario government as Policy Advisor to the Minister of Children and Youth Services. She holds a Masters degree in International Relations from England’s University of Manchester.
